So, instead we can remove all the dirt buildup from the curtain fabrics using a very common equipment. Which is available in almost every household, A vacuum cleaner! You should always first check the care tag of the curtain fabrics. Then decide the medium of cleaning else it might damage your curtains.

Choosing the vacuum cleaner is not a difficult job here, just buy whichever comforts you the most but go for the one with maximum modes, because the more the merrier.

Not much equipment will be required, just the vacuum machine, a stool in case you need to reach a high area, a pair of gloves and mask if you feel necessary.

Whenever working on hung curtains, always work from top to bottom. Start with using the brush attached to your hoover, it will help you in loosing up all the dust and debris from the curtain. And then use the vacuum to pull in all the loose dust particles, most of the dust that is not vacuumed will be falling down on the roof. Make sure you sweep or vacuum the floor nearby.

This method is going to be effective only in the case of dust, but if we talk about stains then you will have to choose other ways of cleaning such as hand washing, dry cleaning, etc.
